11. Summary of resultsnewof the thesis:

Within one year after giving birth, women are at risk of experiencing anxiety symptoms belonging to four different types of anxiety disorders: panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Furthermore, women are also at risk of developing pathological postpartum anxiety at varying levels of severity, from mild to moderate to severe, requiring professional intervention and support.

Many factors contribute to postpartum anxiety in women, including: economic and financial pressures; marital tension during pregnancy and childbirth; the woman's self-esteem; support from her husband and family; and her living environment (urban or rural).

The research findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of postpartum anxiety and anxiety disorders, especially given the current lack of research in this field in Vietnam; they also contribute to a more diverse perspective on psychological distress in postpartum women.

12. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis serve as a useful reference for pregnant and postpartum women, caregivers, and researchers to help women reduce anxiety and have a healthy and happy pregnancy.

13. Future research directions:

If conditions and time permit, we will develop a research topic on applying psychological therapy to women with postpartum anxiety disorders.
