- The system of theoretical issues includes concepts such as tour guides, interpreters, and tourism interpreters; basic requirements according to the characteristics of the tourism interpreter profession; the role and tasks of tourism interpreters; and issues related to content, influencing factors, and state management in the development of the tourism interpreter workforce.

- In addition, the thesis also presents concepts and criteria for evaluating and classifying historical and cultural relics in order to develop plans for exploiting historical and cultural relics for tourism purposes.

- Assessing the current status of tourist guides at national-level special historical sites in Hanoi during the period from 2009 to 2013.

- Propose several short-term and long-term solutions to develop a team of tour guides at special national-level historical sites in Hanoi.
