- In today's society, education plays a very significant role in the economic and social development of the country. In particular, the issue of access to education for ethnic minority students has always been a priority for the Party and the State.

- Van Thuy is a locality in Lang Son province with a large ethnic minority population, facing economic difficulties, and notably, 100% of the students in this commune are from ethnic minority groups. Therefore, the quality of education is very low and deserves serious attention.

ButThis thesis aims to investigate the current situation and identify the factors that create barriers, difficulties, and influences on access to education for ethnic minority students in this area.

- In the modern society, education plays a huge role in the economic and social development of the country. Especially, the access to education of minority has always been interested by the Government.

- Van Thuy is a locality in Lang Son province where many ethnic areas, with poor economic conditions. Moreover, there is a community with 100% of students are ethnic backgrounds and the quality of education is very low that needed attention.

- This thesis aims at researching to understand about the situation and find out the factors that create barriers, difficulties in access to education for minority students here.
