The thesis has presented some results in the process of implementing the methadone treatment program at the methadone treatment facility of the Nam Tu Liem District Medical Center.

There are a number of favorable and difficult factors affecting drug addicts when participating in the program related to society, community, family and drug addicts themselves when participating in the methadone treatment program at the methadone treatment facility in Nam Tu Liem district.

Social workers play an active and effective role in assisting drug addicts when participating in the methadone program, through the construction of a model of the Social Work Department - psychological counseling at the methadone treatment facility in Nam Tu Liem district.
