The results of the research process that I have conducted are as follows: 1. Le Luu is one of the writers who have made important contributions to Vietnamese literature in the renovation period. In the historical context, Vietnamese society has changed a lot since the war, especially since the 6th National Party Congress (1986) with the policy of democratizing literature, Le Luu has subtly and sensitively felt the need to reflect reality with all its manifestations. 2. Le Luu started his career in literature from the short story genre, but later he achieved many successes in the novel genre. From the resounding success of Thoi xa vanh, Le Luu has introduced many works: Chuyen lang Cuoi, Song o day song, Hai nha... Most of Le Luu's works honestly reflect the present, delving into human life with its many manifestations. In any field of life expression, he tries his best to reflect the nature of events and people, perceiving and evaluating them from a multi-dimensional, non-one-sided perspective. 3. Speaking of Le Luu's great contributions to the literature of innovation, we cannot help but mention Le Luu's novels in the innovation period. Le Luu's novels in the innovation period carry within them the marks of traditional novels, while he also explores, innovates, and modernizes novels in both content and form. 4. Recreating and expressing life and people in the new historical period, Le Luu desires nothing more than to use literature to purify reality and human dignity and morality. Le Luu was a highly sensitive person who was trying to reflect all the facts into literature. Le Luu started his career with short stories but he had more success on novels. After the resounding success of “Thoi xa vang”, Le Luu has introduced a lot of famous novels such as Chuyen lang Cuoi, Song o day song, Hai nha…Most of Le Luu's works reflected all the dimensions of the facts. In every aspect of describing the life, he tried his best in displaying nature of things, people and evaluated it with a multi-dimensional prism. Talking about Le Luu's great contribution to renovation literature, we cannot ignore his novels at renovation period. Le Luu's novels during renovation period had a characteristic of traditional novels. However, he also searched, renewed, and modernized his novels in both content and appearance.
