However, it is inevitable that the old customs and practices in protecting water will fade away. The thesis not only points out the role of water in the life of the Tay people since ancient times but also affirms that water always plays an important role in the cultural life of the Tay people and gives ideas for protecting water resources for sustainable development of the ethnic group.
