The results of the research have affirmed the strong influence of folk song genre in the formation of the narrative poem "The Bride's Song." This is a work of folk literature with enduring vitality in the folk literature of the Mong people in particular and Vietnamese folk literature in general. This work is the mournful, sorrowful, and resentful cry of the Mong woman of the past. 11. Practical applications: None 12. Through the research for formation of the kinds of narrative poem and the relationship between Mong Group's folk songs and the narrative poem “Tieng hat lam dau”, the thesis has found out the effects of these folk songs on the formation of the new literature, namely narrative poem. The findings of the thesis have affirmed that these folk songs have strongly affected the formation of the narrative poem “Tieng hat lam dau”, the traditional folklore of the Mong Group in particular and Viet Nam folklore in general.
