Summary of the thesis results (summarize the thesis results, emphasize new results, if any) Summary Vietnamese proverbs are a treasure trove of life experiences: experiences in labor production, farming, animal husbandry, eating, dressing, housing... that people create. Proverbs are a philosophy of life about living in the world, among other people, an art of dealing with others and being human. A treasure trove of folk ethics, through which reflects the spirit of an entire nation. Therefore, the next generations of the Vietnamese people look into that treasure trove to learn and grow because it is a treasure that has been accumulated for thousands of years. The survey of pure Vietnamese and Sino-Vietnamese words of 388 Vietnamese proverbs has confirmed that. Because, among those proverbs, 90% of pure Vietnamese words reflect aspects of experience in labor production, farming, animal husbandry, eating, dressing, housing... of Vietnamese workers. Meanwhile, only 10% of the words and proverbs used by Vietnamese people are Sino-Vietnamese words. Such a difference in quantity is a very interesting linguistic feature. Looking at the treasure of proverbs, we can clearly see the inseparable relationship between language and culture in the history of formation and development of each nation. Language is necessary for the formation, eternalization and development of culture. Language contributes to creating culture as well as culture is the basis for creating language. Vietnamese people are still proud of their thousands of years of cultural tradition and are always conscious of preserving it, especially in the era of integration in all aspects like today, in which culture is no exception. Preserving traditional cultural capital also needs to be done in parallel with preserving the purity of Vietnamese for future generations. This is a task that, in order to be completed, requires the contribution and construction of both linguists and cultural scientists. 12. Ability to apply in practice (if any) Help foreigners recognize the origin of the word class used in Vietnamese proverbs and help foreign students learn Vietnamese language and culture well. 13.
