Within the scope of the thesis, we have clarified the characteristics of legends and festivals about the historical hero of the Tay ethnic group in the Northeast region, especially clarifying the relationship between these two cultural microsystems in the following aspects: the interaction and support of these two cultural microsystems to the formation and development of each other, to the reflection of historical heroes and the transformation of this relationship in today's life. The results of the topic further demonstrate that legends have a great influence on the emergence and development of festivals about historical heroes of the Tay ethnic group in the Northeast. In turn, festivals help realize beliefs in legends and preserve legends. Both legends and festivals reflect historical heroes but in their own, different ways and are imbued with the cultural identity of the ethnic group and region. Today, the relationship between these two cultural microsystems of the Tay ethnic group in the Northeast is no longer as strong as before, but it still retains its good meaning and is not exploited for economic or superstitious purposes as in many other regions. 12.
