Summary of the results of the thesis: The results of the thesis "The role of religion in educating moral values for Catholic children (case study of some parishes in Hanoi)" show that Catholicism is one of the religions that attaches great importance to religious education for children, and has an active role in educating moral values for young children. Moral education for Catholic children takes place mainly in two environments: Church and family, with different and rich forms of education, attracting the attention of parents and young children. In Christian education for children, the priest is an important person, with the role of managing and organizing educational activities, controlling the implementation of religious values, moral values in young children, as well as the implementation of religious obligations in the education of children by parents. Catechists are those who play a direct role in educating children about religion and moral values with a spirit of selfless service. The role of parents is the most important in educating children about moral values, which is the right and responsibility of parents towards their children, but at the same time it is also their responsibility towards religion. Basically, the moral values that Catholicism wants to educate children about are good moral values, in accordance with the customs, habits and general concept of morality of Vietnamese people. The impact of Catholic morality on children is relatively clearly shown in the scope, scale and intensity of educational activities. Moral education takes place proactively, with clear purposes and means, regularly, continuously and has positive impacts on the process of forming and developing the personality of children according to Catholicism. However, these impacts are not the same for all children, the level of absorption of moral values that Christianity brings to children is different, depending on the child himself and his family. In short, religion - specifically Christianity - has a certain and positive role in educating moral values for children, these are good moral values that need to be promoted in today's social life. 11.
