The thesis is the first direct research work on two Vietnamese press agencies that are tending to develop into press groups, namely Investment Newspaper and People's Police Newspaper. Through that, it points out the advantages, difficulties and causes leading to the delay in forming press groups. The thesis also initially proposes a number of solutions and recommendations to overcome difficulties and realize the establishment of the press group model in Vietnam.
