Speaking at the opening of the conference and disseminating some key directions of activities in Party work in 2025, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the School emphasized that Party work needs to be regularized and standardized; not avoiding or avoiding backlogs.
Party Secretary Hoang Anh Tuan noted the need to hold regular meetings at Party cells, not to delay or be late in admitting new Party members and proposing official recognition of Party members; and to guide and monitor new students who are probationary Party members.
To prepare for the Party Cell Congress held from February to March 2025, the Party Committees of the units need to focus on directing key tasks, the preparation work needs to be serious and urgent, especially the development of congress documents and the development of personnel plans and Party Committee structures. Secretary Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that when developing personnel plans, the Party Cells need to follow the correct procedures, be united and democratic; select the right people to work, and bring into the Party Committee personnel with capacity, qualities, high sense of responsibility, daring to speak and dare to act; assign specific and clear tasks in the Party Cell. Resolutely eliminate personnel showing signs of opportunism and individualism, basically implementing the policy that the Party Cell Secretary is the leader of the unit. The work of nomination and election must be carried out strictly and seriously.

The conference awarded the 30-year Party membership badge to comrade Dinh Van Huong (Party Cell of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training) and comrade Dang Quang Thai (Party Cell III of the Headquarters); awarded Certificates of Merit to 04 Party Cells that excellently completed their tasks in 2024, including the Party Cell of the Faculty of Psychology, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Sociology, the Party Cell of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities, and the Party Cell III of the Headquarters.

Summarizing and thoroughly grasping some key directions of activities in the Party work of the school, comrade Bui Thanh Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the School Council, Head of the Training Department emphasized that Party work in the coming time needs to be properly implemented according to the guiding documents. With the characteristics of a university that is increasingly attracting excellent students to register for admission, the number of students who are Party members is increasing, requiring Party cells to closely follow the guidance and monitoring activities for Party sympathizers.
2025 is the year of “the hinge of hinges” with many important events and important contexts for the country as well as for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, such as the issue of university autonomy and streamlining the apparatus. Therefore, Party cells and Party members invest their intelligence, enthusiasm, and clearly understand the responsibility of individuals and Party organizations for the preparation and organization of the Congress in particular as well as for the general development of the school in the coming time.
