Candidates can only adjust their admission registration once.
According to the 2017 University Admissions Guidelines, candidates can register an unlimited number of wishes, arranged in order of priority, and must register for admission (DKXT) and register for the national high school exam, from April 1 to April 20. After that, schools will adjust and announce the scores for receiving application documents on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal and the school's website.
Candidates can use this as a basis to adjust their admission application. The adjustment can only be made once. Candidates can adjust online from July 15 to July 21 or by using the admission application adjustment form from July 15 to July 23.
“Candidates are allowed to increase the number of wishes compared to the number of wishes initially registered in the Admissions Registration Form and must pay additional fees for the increased number of wishes according to regulations. Candidates must fill in all information in the Admissions Registration Form and send it directly to the document receiving point so that the computer staff can update it into the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal.
Candidates must enter the correct school code, major/major group code, and admission combination code according to the school's regulations. Any incorrect wishes will not be accepted by the software system and will be rejected. The place receiving the application must ask candidates to check the results of the adjusted registration wishes within the prescribed time and request correction of errors, if any" - The instructions clearly state.
Floor score will be announced before July 14
Also according to the 2017 University Admissions Guidelines, before March 30, all universities and colleges must announce their 2017 admission plans. From May 10 to 30, universities and colleges will download candidate registration data from the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal for reference.
Schools publicly announce the admission scores for different admission combinations after receiving the national high school exam results in accordance with the input quality assurance threshold prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training and other conditions.
It is expected that the threshold to ensure input quality will be announced before July 14. The minimum score of each test/subject of the combination used for admission is determined by the schools but must not be contrary to the regulations of the national high school exam and the recognition of national high school graduation.
During the time when candidates adjust their admission wishes, universities and colleges will not update or publish information about candidates who have registered for admission. From July 28 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, universities and colleges will carry out the first round of admission procedures. Additional admission procedures will be conducted from August 13.
The Ministry of Education and Training requires that, in the first phase, schools with preliminary selection procedures; schools that organize specialized competency assessment exams or have aptitude exams combined with the use of national high school exam results according to the regulations of the Admissions Regulations must complete updating the results into the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal before July 14.

Candidates who are admitted directly must confirm their enrollment at the school before July 20. In 2017, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulated that candidates who achieved the title of national excellent students would be directly admitted to the correct major and the major close to each exam subject according to the regulations of each school. For candidates who won the National Science and Technology Competition, schools will base on the results of the project, the scientific and technical research topic of the winning candidate and the list of correct majors and close majors to consider direct admission to the major that matches the results of the project or topic in which the candidate won the prize. Schools publicly announce the quota, criteria, review process and ranking of majors for direct admission and priority admission in the school's admission plan. Candidates should carefully study the information about the conditions and documents for direct admission and submit their applications to the Department of Education and Training before May 20. Universities and colleges organize direct admission of candidates according to regulations, update the list of successful candidates in the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal and send the direct admission results to the Departments of Education and Training to notify candidates before 5:00 p.m. on July 15. Candidates who are directly admitted must submit their application and confirm their admission to the schools before July 20. |
