On the morning of August 14, 2023, a delegation of Chinese students from Yunnan Normal University, China had a working session at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

(SVVN) In 2019, Phuong Thanh was the valedictorian of block D01 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). After four years of hard work, Phuong Thanh graduated as valedictorian of Psychology with an excellent academic result of 3.69/4.0.

On the morning of August 11, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony of the credit exchange program for students from the University of Virginia (USA).

The conference attracted the attention of experts and specialists from many prestigious universities in Vietnam studies training nationwide with dozens of articles of great scientific value.

Vietnamese history has always recorded the contributions of Buddhism to the nation. Over two thousand years of existence in Vietnam, through the ups and downs of history, Vietnamese Buddhism has soon integrated into social life, harmonized with the life, activities, culture, and beliefs of the people and become a religion closely associated with and accompanying the Vietnamese people. In the history of Vietnamese Buddhism, it is impossible not to mention Kinh Bac Buddhism - considered the cradle of Vietnamese Buddhism.

On August 7, 2023, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, VNU-USSH) chaired the August school-wide meeting. The meeting was attended by Vice Rectors, Party cell secretaries, heads of units under the school and leaders of mass organizations.

On August 5 and 6, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) solemnly held a graduation ceremony for nearly 1,600 new bachelors of 27 full-time training majors and 40 new full-time bachelors of the second major.

Nearly 1,600 new bachelors from 27 regular training majors and 40 new bachelors from the second regular major of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) received their Bachelor's degrees at the solemn Graduation Ceremony held on August 5 and 6, 2023.

Through the production of paper from sugarcane leaves, a group of students from the Faculty of International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, hopes to create valuable agricultural products, increase income for sugarcane farmers and build a circular economic model in agriculture. This project won the highest award in the Mekong River competition with 20 teams from 6 countries participating.

On the afternoon of August 2, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a memorandum of understanding with Dalat University, University of Foreign Languages - Hue University and Hong Bang International University.

These valuable scholarships were awarded to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on August 3, 2023.

“Making a Difference – Social Work Without Barriers: Towards Sustainable Development and Responding to Emergencies” is the theme of the International Scientific Conference organized by the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Hanoi on August 1-2, 2023.

On August 2, 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the school, together with representatives of the Department of Cooperation and Development, Department of Training, Department of Scientific Research Management and the Department of Sociology, had a meeting and worked with representatives of Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and the President of the World Association of Social Work Training Schools.
