On September 1, 2023, Research.com published the results of its ranking of the world's most outstanding scientists in terms of scientific publications in 2023.

This was the spirit of the leaders and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the training conference on the Regulations for undergraduate and doctoral training and the implementation of tasks for the 2023-2024 academic year, held on the morning of August 29, 2023.

This is the policy and determination of the Board of Directors, leaders of Faculties/Institutes, functional departments, as well as lecturers and staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), as expressed at the Student Affairs Conference for the academic year 2023-2024, held on August 25-26, 2023 in Ba Vi, Hanoi.

According to the plan for implementing non-budgetary scholarships managed by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in the 2023-2024 academic year, VNU will attract 20 types of non-budgetary scholarships from domestic and foreign funds, financial institutions, and businesses, with a total value of over 5.2 billion Vietnamese Dong and over 157,000 US Dollars.

On the morning of August 25, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 (DG9+) Project Council, South Korea, held an exchange session and signed an agreement on cooperation in student and faculty exchange, as well as the establishment of a research center in social sciences.

On August 22nd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting with a delegation from Hoseo University to discuss the continuation of the cooperation agreement in training and research between the two institutions.

On August 22, 2023, at the auditorium on the 8th floor, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University, Hanoi, solemnly held the Conference of Staff and Employees and summarized the 2022-2023 academic year.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities provides guidance to candidates on checking admission results, confirming enrollment, and preparing enrollment documents for the 2023 regular undergraduate program.

On the morning of August 16, 2023, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully held its Conference to summarize its activities for the 2022-2023 academic year and to implement its plan for the 2023-2024 academic year. The conference was attended by representatives from the VNU-USSH Trade Union, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, representatives from various units, and 112 union members who received awards at various levels for the 2022-2023 academic year.

On August 13, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU – USSH), in collaboration with the Executive Board of the Buddhist Association of Tien Du District, successfully organized the national scientific conference "Architecture and Culture of Bach Mon Pagoda in the Historical Flow of Buddhism in Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac".

On the morning of August 14, 2023, a delegation of Chinese language students from Yunnan Normal University, China, held a working session at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

(SVVN) In 2019, Phuong Thanh was the top-scoring student in the D01 entrance exam at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). After four years of hard work, Phuong Thanh graduated as valedictorian in Psychology with an excellent academic record of 3.69/4.0.

On the morning of August 11, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held the closing ceremony for the credit exchange program for students from the University of Virginia (USA).

The conference attracted the attention of experts and professionals from many prestigious universities specializing in Vietnamese studies across the country, with dozens of papers of significant scientific value.

Vietnamese history has always acknowledged the contributions of Buddhism to the nation. For over two thousand years of existence in Vietnam, enduring the ups and downs of history, Vietnamese Buddhism has integrated into social life, blending seamlessly with the lives, activities, culture, and beliefs of the people, becoming a religion deeply intertwined with and accompanying the Vietnamese nation. In the history of Vietnamese Buddhism, it is impossible not to mention Kinh Bac Buddhism – considered the cradle of Vietnamese Buddhism.
