These valuable scholarships were awarded to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam on August 3, 2023.

“Making a Difference – Barrier-Free Social Work: Towards Sustainable Development and Emergency Response” was the theme of the international scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on August 1-2, 2023.

On August 2nd, 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong - Vice Rector of the university, along with representatives from the Cooperation and Development Department, the Training Department, the Scientific Research Management Department, and the Sociology Faculty, held a meeting with representatives from Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel; and the president of the World Association of Social Work Schools.

On August 1, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China (PolyU) signed a cooperation agreement focusing on social work, marking a new stage of development for the social work field at VNU-USSH in particular and in Vietnam in general.

On August 1st, 2023, a cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) - Tay Hanoi Branch.
