Within the framework of the 2023 rotating meeting in Vietnam, the SEAMEO SPAFA delegation visited scenic spots, museums and relics to learn about the culture and history of Vietnam with the accompaniment of experts and lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On the morning of September 12, 2023, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), the opening session and the first agenda of the 38th rotating meeting of SEAMEO SPAFA - Southeast Asian Center for Knowledge Education and Arts took place.

On September 7, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a meeting with Associate Professor Tang Khiem - Vice President of the Institute of International Languages and Cultures, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics and MSc. Liu Giai - Lecturer of the Institute of International Languages and Cultures, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics about the exchange plan for 29 students from China to study at VNU-USSH.

On September 1, 2023, the website Research.com announced the results of the ranking of world scientists with outstanding achievements in scientific publication in 2023.

That is the policy and determination of the Board of Directors, leaders of Faculties/Institutes, functional departments as well as lecturers and staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) expressed in the Student Affairs Conference for the 2023-2024 academic year held on August 25-26, 2023 in Ba Vi, Hanoi.

According to the plan to deploy extra-budgetary scholarships exploited and managed by VNU for the 2023-2024 academic year, VNU attracts 20 types of extra-budgetary scholarships from funds, financial institutions, and domestic and foreign enterprises with a total value of up to more than 5.2 billion VND and more than 157,000 USD.

On the morning of August 25, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 Project Council (DG9+), Korea had an exchange session and signed a cooperation agreement on student and lecturer exchange as well as establishing a research center on social sciences.

On August 22, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) had a working session with a delegation from Hoseo University to continue signing a memorandum of cooperation in training and research between the two training institutions.

On the morning of August 16, 2023, the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized the Conference to summarize the Trade Union activities of the 2022-2023 school year and deploy the action plan for the 2023-2024 school year with the participation of representatives of the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the Trade Union Executive Committee and representatives of leaders of units and 112 cadres and trade union members received awards at all levels in the 2022-2023 school year.

On August 13, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU - USSH) coordinated with the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Tien Du district to successfully organize the national scientific conference "Architecture and culture of Bach Mon pagoda in the historical flow of Buddhism in Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac".
