University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces the plan for organizing the Opening Ceremony and Student Festival for the 2023-2024 academic year as follows:

Within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Training's working program in Northern Europe, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), discussed and agreed to support Vietnamese expatriates in Sweden in improving their Vietnamese language skills and preserving Vietnamese culture in the future.

This program is part of a series of activities for the field trip for K65 students majoring in Vietnamese Studies, Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNU Hanoi.

During the 2023 rotating meeting in Vietnam, the SEAMEO SPAFA delegation visited scenic spots, museums, and historical sites to learn about the culture and history of Vietnam, accompanied by experts and lecturers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On the morning of September 12, 2023, the opening session and first meeting of the 38th rotating meeting of SEAMEO SPAFA - Southeast Asian Centre for Knowledge, Education and Arts - took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).

On September 7th, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU – USSH) held a meeting with Assoc. Prof. Tang Khiem - Vice President of the Institute of International Language and Culture, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, and Ms. Luu Giai - Lecturer at the Institute of International Language and Culture, Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, regarding the plan to exchange 29 students from China to study at VNU – USSH.

Based on Official Letter No. 3253/ĐHQGHN-ĐT dated August 31, 2023, from the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) regarding the adjustment of the postgraduate admission schedule for the second round of 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the adjusted postgraduate admission schedule as follows:

Today, September 6th, 2023, 2,099 new students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, completed their enrollment procedures, welcoming a new academic year filled with many exciting experiences!

On September 1, 2023, Research.com published the results of its ranking of the world's most outstanding scientists in terms of scientific publications in 2023.

This was the spirit of the leaders and lecturers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) at the training conference on the Regulations for undergraduate and doctoral training and the implementation of tasks for the 2023-2024 academic year, held on the morning of August 29, 2023.

This is the policy and determination of the Board of Directors, leaders of Faculties/Institutes, functional departments, as well as lecturers and staff of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), as expressed at the Student Affairs Conference for the academic year 2023-2024, held on August 25-26, 2023 in Ba Vi, Hanoi.

According to the plan for implementing non-budgetary scholarships managed by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in the 2023-2024 academic year, VNU will attract 20 types of non-budgetary scholarships from domestic and foreign funds, financial institutions, and businesses, with a total value of over 5.2 billion Vietnamese Dong and over 157,000 US Dollars.

On the morning of August 25, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Daegu-Gyeongbuk LINC3.0 (DG9+) Project Council, South Korea, held an exchange session and signed an agreement on cooperation in student and faculty exchange, as well as the establishment of a research center in social sciences.

On August 22nd, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) held a meeting with a delegation from Hoseo University to discuss the continuation of the cooperation agreement in training and research between the two institutions.

On August 22, 2023, at the auditorium on the 8th floor, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University, Hanoi, solemnly held the Conference of Staff and Employees and summarized the 2022-2023 academic year.
