In accordance with theory and practice, the thesis has systematically presented the process of formation, development, and characteristics of Thien Lam Te in Northern Vietnam. In that flow, we can see the history of Thien Lam Te in the ancestral place of Dao Xuyen.
The thesis has analyzed the lineage of Thien Lam Te in Dao Xuyen's ancestral place up to now and the current status of some Buddhist activities in Dao Xuyen today and analyzed its typical characteristics.
The thesis has analyzed the contributions of Thien Lam Te in Dao Xuyen to Vietnamese Buddhism, pointed out a number of problems with Dao Xuyen temple and made some recommendations.
