The thesis researches the causes of anxiety disorders in high school students, so after the research process, we found that there are 4 main causes of anxiety disorders in students: group of causes related to studying, group of causes related to family, group of causes related to social relationships and group of causes related to the students themselves.

Among those groups of causes, the group of causes related to studying is the main group of causes causing anxiety for students at Quang Binh Specialized High School. Studying brings heavy pressure to students, especially the learning results are really a concern, worry and also an obsession for students among the subjects of the thesis.

When using psychological therapies to influence the children, especially using counseling skills. We see that the children have been relieved of those worries, they have become aware and clearly identified their worries and ways to overcome them.

The results of the project have contributed to providing relatively accurate data on the current state of school anxiety disorders (up to now, there have not been many studies on school anxiety disorders). In addition, the results of the project also show the effectiveness of counseling for students with anxiety disorders.

12. Practical application

- Regarding the study of the current situation: The thesis has presented the current situation of anxiety disorders based on the use of two anxiety scales, Zung and DASS 42. Thanks to the reliability of the scale, we can use it to study the current situation in a larger area.

- Regarding ways to support and help children with anxiety disorders in particular (and children with psychological difficulties in general): use psychological therapies, use counseling skills to help children relieve anxiety.

This is the strength of the thesis, which can be widely applied in practice and bring practical effects to human life.

13. Further research directions

We will continue to research the current situation of school anxiety disorders on a larger scale (in many provinces and cities across the country), examine the causes of anxiety disorders in students, and will use school counseling methods for students to help them overcome their psychological difficulties.
