11. Summarize the results of the thesis (provide a summary of the thesis results, emphasizing any new findings, if any).

- The understanding of the concept of a profession among students of ethnic minority boarding high schools is quite comprehensive, meaning it stops at the external manifestations of the profession. However, when delving deeper into understanding the specific characteristics of a profession and comparing those requirements with their own abilities, physical condition, and psychological state, the students are still confused and uncertain.

- Students' career choices are heavily focused on professions highly valued by society (teaching, accounting, engineering). There are very few students who choose professions closely related to the local characteristics (agriculture, forestry). This is a limitation because the government's policy prioritizes students from ethnic minority boarding schools so that they can primarily serve their local communities.

12. Practical applications (if any)

- This research topic can provide a scientific basis for educational streaming for the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, and the Department of Education, and will contribute to the innovation of content and methods used in ethnic boarding schools, such as integrating knowledge about career guidance, industry orientation, and vocational orientation for students.

13. Future research directions

- Analyzing the correlation between career awareness and career choices of students in ethnic boarding schools in the northern mountainous provinces.

14. Published works relevant to the thesis (list in chronological order, if any)

- "Investigating the current situation, aspirations, and reasons for career choices of 12th-grade students in inner-city Hai Phong" - Nguyen Bich Hong, 1987
