10. Summary of thesis results:
The thesis focuses on building a theoretical basis for environmental conflicts, environmental pollution, types of environmental conflicts in limestone mining and policies on environmental conflicts to propose technological policies to resolve conflicts for companies and businesses that cause environmental pollution.
In addition, it analyzed and clarified the current situation of environmental conflicts in mining activities, listed the policy systems that have been and are being applied as the institutional corridor for managing mining activities. At the same time, it pointed out the positive and negative aspects of policies, technology, equipment, and techniques for mining activities. The thesis provides methods for environmental management and conflict resolution in each specific case of mining activities for companies and enterprises that are exploiting and processing limestone in Kinh Mon district, causing environmental pollution affecting the air and water resources of the community. From practical experience in resolving environmental conflicts in Kinh Mon district, the thesis proposes a number of groups of solutions on human resource development, finance, technology, information and propaganda, and policy systems to resolve mining activities in Kinh Mon district.
These are groups of solutions that impact on solving the root causes of conflicts, at the same time preventing conflicts from occurring and overcoming the serious environmental pollution in Kinh Mon district. Thereby, proposing recommendations to all levels and sectors to pay more attention to environmental pollution, improve the environment, participate in protecting the environment where they live, and join hands for the health of the community.
