The shift in Vietnamese thought in the late 19th and early 20th centuries reflects the shift in the conditions of Vietnamese society, economy, politics and culture. Its content is characteristic of the shift in Vietnamese society and thinking during this period. In the shift with rich content of Vietnamese thought in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, there is a rather sensitive and subtle content, which is the shift in the perception of men about the field of religion in general, and Buddhism in particular, which has received little attention. These contents play an important role, they contribute to enriching thoughts, and are a bridge for the spread and development of revolutionary thoughts in Vietnam in the next period.
