10. Summary of the thesis results:
According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), approximately 8% of adolescents aged 13-18 have an anxiety disorder. About 50% of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders also have other mental disorders such as depression. In Vietnam, according to author Nguyen Cong Khanh, 17.65%-19.2% of students show signs of anxiety disorders. GAD is the most common and impactful anxiety disorder, often associated with other mental disorders. If left untreated, GAD can become chronic, and up to 80% of people with GAD carry a heavy burden of anxiety and distress throughout their lives. During my work, I provided psychological intervention for an 18-year-old male client with generalized anxiety disorder.
After conducting the study, it was found that the lack of early psychological intervention would seriously affect the client's quality of life, work, and health. Furthermore, the case study helped the psychologist gain experience in applying methods and techniques in treating anxiety disorders, recognizing positive achievements and areas for improvement in practice.
11. Practical applications:
Based on the results obtained from theoretical and practical research on a clinical case, this thesis presents an overview of epidemiological studies on anxiety disorders in Vietnam and worldwide, as well as current common intervention approaches, and then applies and analyzes them in a clinical case. The results show that early psychological intervention for the 18-year-old male client is essential, and the therapeutic methods and techniques had a positive impact on the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder in the client.

10. Summary of the results of the thesis:
According to a report by the American Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), about 8% of teenagers aged 13-18 years have an anxiety disorder. About 50% of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders are accompanied by other mental disorders like depression. In Vietnam, according to author Nguyen Cong Khanh, 17.65% - 19.2% of students show signs of anxiety disorder. GAD is the most common and influential anxiety disorder, often accompanied by other mental disorders. If left untreated, GAD will become a chronic disease and up to 80% of people with GAD will carry severe anxiety and depression throughout their lives. During the course of work, I gave psychological intervention for an 18 year old male client with generalized anxiety disorder.
After the course of work, it can be seen that without early psychological interventions, it will seriously affect the quality of life, work and health of clients. In addition, case studies also help psychologists gain experience in applying methods and techniques to treat anxiety disorders, recognize positive points that have been done and points to be experienced. during practice.
