Summary of the results of the thesis: As an exemplary poet and culturalist of the 16th century, Nguyen Binh Khiem has always received deep attention from researchers. His Nom poetry is considered a bridge between Nguyen Trai's poetry and the later national poetry system, of which the most prominent is the Nom poetry collection Trinh Quoc Cong Nguyen Binh Khiem Thi Tap. Although the work does not contain a large amount of Nom characters, it still preserves a large amount of ancient Nom code or many ancient Vietnamese language traces of high value. Therefore, this thesis will first provide an overview of the work Trinh Quoc Cong Nguyen Binh Khiem Thi Tap, clarify the issue of the work's chronology, and then, based on the statistical table classifying Nom characters according to the criteria of form - pronunciation - meaning of Nom characters, clarify the nature and appearance of Nom characters in the text. In addition, the thesis will also provide vocabulary statistics to help us visualize more clearly the historical relationship between Nom and Vietnamese in a specific work at a time when the work was published. Summary of thesis findings: The works by Nguyen Binh Khiem, a prominent scholar and poet of the 16th century, have always been an interesting topic of discussion of the academia. His poems in Nom are considered the bridge between Nguyen Trai's poems and later compositions in the national language, and the most outstanding work is Nguyen Binh Khiem's anthology of poems. Nom characters are not dominant in his works; still they preserve highly valuable ancient Nom codes and numerous traces of ancient Vietnamese. From that perspective, this thesis first and foremost provides an overall picture of Nguyen Binh Khiem's anthology of poems, clarifies its time and age, and, from the categorization of Nom based on its morphology, phonology and semantics, gives an insight into the attributes of Nom in contexts. In addition, the thesis indicates statistics on lexicology in order to illustrate the historical relation between Nom and Vietnamese in a specific work in the time that it was created. The thesis will thus serve as an important document for further development of related studies by concerning researchers. 11.
