10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis has contributed to clarifying some fundamental theoretical issues of information and library organization and operation, such as clarifying the concept of information and library organization and operation; the role and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of organization and operation; and the factors affecting and the relationship between organization and operation. Based on theoretical foundations, the thesis has studied the current state of organization and operation at the Library of the University of Transport Technology through statistical data and assessments of organizational and operational quality; and offered observations on the current state of organization and operation at the Library. Based on the results of theoretical and practical research, the author has proposed several feasible solutions, appropriate to the practical conditions, to contribute to improving organization and enhancing operational efficiency at the Library of the University of Transport Technology.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis can be applied to improving the organization and enhancing the quality of operations at the Library of the University of Transport Technology in the present and future.

Furthermore, this thesis serves as a useful reference for Vietnamese university libraries and is beneficial for research, teaching, and learning in the field of Information and Library Science.

12. Future research directions:

Based on the research findings of this thesis, the scope of research can be expanded to include the organization and operation of several university libraries in Vietnam; and solutions can be proposed to improve the organization and operation between the Library of the University of Transport Technology and other universities.

10. Summary of the thesis' findings:

This thesis is aimed at clarifying the theoretical background of the organization and operation of the Library and Information Science such as the concept of library and information science, the role and criterion to evaluate the effectiveness, impaction factors and the relationship between organization and operation.

Based on the theoretical framework, the thesis studied the organization and operation of the library at the University of Transport Technology through the statistics, the evaluation of organization and operation's effectiveness, then gave comments on the library's organization and operation.

Finally, some feasible solutions and recommendations will be revealed based on the theoretical and practical background in order to improve the organization and operation at the University of Transport Technology's library.

11. Applicability in practice

The results of the thesis can be used to improve the organization and operation at the University of Transport Technology's library at the present time and in the years to come.

Futhermore, this thesis is also a valuable added to the source of references for universities' libraries and for the study, teaching and learning of Library and Information science.

12. Further research directions, if any:

It is suggested that the scope of the research should be extended in the organization and operation in a number of Vietnam Universities' libraries in order to develop a model for the combination between the University of Transport Technology's library and all other universities' libraries.
