10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on theoretical research and the current state of love among adults, the following results were obtained: the love scale has a three-component structure (three aspects): intimacy, passion, and commitment/responsibility. The scale has high reliability, and the internal reliability of each subscale is good, making it suitable for evaluating the love of adults in Vietnam. Of the three components of love, commitment and responsibility are most strongly expressed in the love of those in early adulthood.

We investigated the factors influencing love among adults, and the results showed that: having higher expectations for an ideal partner than the actual partner negatively impacts love. Kindness, health, and attractiveness correlate positively with all aspects of love. Intelligence correlates positively with passion in love. Financial prospects correlate positively with passion, commitment, and responsibility.

Using Keyes' happiness scale in conjunction with the study, research shows that all three components of love are positively correlated with a person's sense of happiness, particularly in emotional terms.

Through this, we also offer suggestions to raise awareness among adults about true love.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis serve as a useful reference for educational institutions, researchers, lecturers, and others to develop appropriate solutions to enhance adults' awareness of true love.

12. Future research directions:

If we have the resources and time, we will further research the topic by considering the impact of factors such as age, needs, personality, temperament, abilities, living area, and ethnicity in different regions.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Based on theoretical research and the actual state of adults' love, the findings have been identified as follows: love scale consists of three primary components: intimacy, passion, and commitment. Both the scale itself and its sub-scales have high reliability; Therefore, they can be used to evaluate the love of Vietnamese adults. Amongst three components of adults' love, the commitment exposes most powerfully.

After having researched the factors affecting adults' love, we have found that: adults' expectation of ideal love (wife/husband) higher than their real love (wife/husband) negatively affects their love. The factors of kindness, health and mutual attraction correlate with all expressions of love. The factor of intelligence correlates with the passion in love. The factor of financial outlook correlates with the passion and the commitment.

In combination with Keyes's happiness scale, the thesis shows that all three components of love correlate with the feeling of happiness of the interviewees, especially in terms of emotions.

Thereby, the thesis also gives some recommendations in order to enhance adults' awareness about true love.

11. Practical applicability, if any:

The results of the thesis are expected to be a useful reference for training establishments, researchers, and lecturers devising suitable solutions to enhance adults' awareness about true love.

12. Further research directions, if any:

If we have more time, we will conduct further research on the impact of such factors such as: age, needs, characters, temper, competence, living area, and ethnic groups in different regions.
