11. Summary of thesis results:

Topic:Group social work with intervention to help adolescents with aggressive behavior(Case study at Ngoc Chau Secondary School, Hai Duong city)was conducted with the aim of studying the theory and practice of aggressive behavior of minors, thereby designing a process of applying group social work methods to intervention and support to reduce this negative behavior.

In terms of theory, the study has clarified the basic issues of behavioral disorders including theories explaining behavioral disorders, concepts, nature, and classification of behavioral disorders... At the same time, it systematizes theoretical issues related to group social intervention measures, provides an overview of school social work, as well as theories about adolescent children.

In terms of practice, the study has partly assessed the current situation of behavioral problems in adolescents in terms of awareness, manifestations, causes, consequences, influencing factors, and behavioral intervention measures. The research results are consistent with the research hypothesis when showing that behavioral problems are a prominent issue, with an increasing trend in both the level and dangerous nature of the behavior. The problem of aggression, school violence, or moral degradation in students leaves many negative consequences for families, schools, society, especially for adolescents who go to school every day. It shows the need to simultaneously implement many measures, including social work intervention measures, to minimize this negative behavior.

Based on the explanation of the reasons for choosing and proposing intervention measures to support children with behavioral problems, we conducted a group social work experiment on a group of children with behavioral problems in the surveyed area. As a result, after the intervention and support process, the children were equipped with knowledge about behavioral problems, life skills, skills to cope with stressful situations, and experienced exercises to relax emotions, life values, respect, peace, etc. From there, their awareness, attitude, and behavior had positive changes, and behavioral problems were reduced.

12. Practical application:

The results of the study have demonstrated the effectiveness of social work in general, and group social work in particular, in intervening to help adolescents with aggressive behavior. This is the scientific and practical basis for proposing the application of the group social work model in schools to effectively solve the problems of aggression and school violence that are very common today.

13. Further research directions:

Based on the results obtained from this topic, I plan to conduct further research on Building a model of group social work with children with deviant behavior in general and adolescents with aggressive behavior in particular in schools.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Subject study: Group social work with the interventional help for the adolescent having aggressive behaviors(the case of Ngoc Chau Secondary School, Hai Duong City)

The study has been carried out to get to know about theories and facts of the adolescent who have aggressive behaviors, thereby putting forward a process of applying group social work into the interventional help aiming at reducing these negative behaviors. Theoretically, the study has clarified basic issues on aggressive behaviors including explanations of aggressive behaviors, the definition and classification of aggressive behaviors. At the same time it has systematized discussed issues involving group social work solution, it has also generalized school social work as well as theories of the adolescent.

Practically, the study has partially analyzed the current situation of aggressive behaviors among the adolescent in terms of awareness, expressions, causes, consequences, impacts, solutions. Results of the study have coincided with the assumption that aggressive behaviors have been one of noticeable issues which tend to increase in frequency as well as level of danger. Aggressive behaviors, school violence and corrupt morality among students have resulted in negative impacts for families, schools, society, especially the adolescent themselves, those who go to school every day. This indicates the necessity of conducting comprehensive measures, one of which is group social work to reduce these negative behaviors.

On the basis of the reasons and interventional measures to help the adolescent of aggressive behaviors proposed, we have carried out the experimental group social work to help a number of local children who have aggressive behaviors in the target area. Consequently, after the process of interventional help, those children have been equipped with the knowledge of aggressive behaviors, living skills, and skills to react tense situations. They have also experienced relaxing exercises, learned the value of life and peace, etc. Hence, their awareness, attitudes, behaviors have changed dramatically. Their aggressive behaviors have decreased accordingly.

12. The possibility of practical application

Results of the study have approved the effectiveness of group social work in general, group social work in particular in the interventional help for the adolescent having aggressive behaviors. These are scientific and practical basis for the proposal of applying the model of group social work into schools to solve the problem of aggressive behaviors and school violence, which has been common these days.

13. Future intention of study

From the results of the study, we plan in the future to study further, establish and improve the model of group social work with the interventional help for the adolescent having aggressive behaviors in society in general and in schools in particular.
