10. Summary of the thesis results:
- The thesis consists of 150 pages, divided into three chapters: Chapter 1 - Theoretical basis, Chapter 2 - Methods of construction, Chapter 3 - Characteristics of syntactic function and application of onomatopoeia and mimetic words in linguistic activity.
- This thesis synthesizes and describes the basic aspects of onomatopoeia and mimetic words in Korean, including studies on general concepts, syntactic characteristics, methods of formation, and applications in various literary forms and language styles. For each aspect, the thesis compares Korean with Vietnamese to clarify some differences in the language, thinking, and culture of the two nations.
- Both Korean and Vietnamese use reduplication, compounding, and morpheme-based word formation to create onomatopoeic and descriptive words, with reduplication being the primary method. In particular, in reduplication, while Vietnamese uses rhymes and tones to create new words with distinct nuances of meaning, Korean uses consonants as the main tool to express the meaning of a word. The relationship between sound and meaning is very close.

It can be used as a reference for teaching and research on the Korean language.

- Thesis consists of about 150 pages, three chapters:
Chapter 1: Rationale
Chapter 2: Modal Structure
Chapter 3: Characteristics about grammar and application of onomatopoeia, mimesis in figurative language activities
- Thesis was synthesized and described the basic aspects of onomatopoeia, mimesis in Korean, including some study research of general concept, feature syntax, structure and using method in some types of literature, language style. The thesis has compared in every single aspect between Korean and Vietnamese, to clarify some differences in language and thought as well as the culture between two countries.
Thesis contributes to document repository, support for the teaching and research on Korean language, as well as guideline for the following research.
- Both Korean and Vietnamese are using reduplicative method, magnetized form in order to make onomatopoeia, mimesis in which, duplicative is the main method. Particularly in reduplicative method, if Vietnamese language uses rhyme, tone to create new words with distinctive nuances, so Korean language uses consonants which considered as the main tool to express the meaning of the word. The relationship between sound and meaning of expression is extremely close.

The thesis can be a useful reference source for teaching and research on Korean Language.

The thesis's author will continue to go deeper in finding and analyzing the characteristics of onomatopoeia, mimesis of Korean which mentioned in the thesis, as well as expanding research on other related aspects.
