10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis provides an overview of the current situation of ethnic minority women participating in the State sector in Kon Tum province. The research results show that ethnic minority female civil servants in the State sector in Kon Tum are still limited in quantity and quality.

The thesis has delved into the motivation, access opportunities, work experiences and social behavior of these women in the locality in the context of local culture, as well as inter-ethnic interactions in the research area.

The research results also show that family obligations, family and social prejudices significantly hinder women's participation in state agencies. Ethnic psychological factors also greatly affect women's ability to develop their capacity. From there, the research provides policy recommendations to contribute to the development of ethnic minority cadres, improve opportunities for ethnic minority women to access and participate in the public environment.

Thesis provides an overview of the status of ethnic minority women's participation in the public sector of Kontum province. According to the research findings, the involvement of ethnic minority women in the public sector in Kon Tum is quite limited.

Thesis focuses on ethnic minority women's job opportunities, working experiences in the local context against the backdrop of local perceptions of gender roles as well inter-ethnic relations.

The research results show that many factors prevent ethnic minority women from participating in the public sphere such as family commitments, gender biases, etc. These factors make it more challenging for women to actively participate in the public sector. Therefore, this thesis offers some policy for policy makers to improve the existing programs that aim to promote ethnic minority women's participation in the public sector.

12. Practical applicability

- Firstly, this thesis offers some policy suggestions for administrators to improve access and participation in public organizations of ethnic minority women and in order to enhance livelihood opportunities for local residents in the Kontum province.

- Secondly, this thesis can be served as a point of reference for researchers who are interested in status and participation of ethnic minority women in the public sector as well policy makers in order to design culturally appropriate policies and programs in the ethnic minority areas.
