10. Summary of thesis results:

During the implementation period, my thesis achieved the following results:

Firstly, the thesis has contributed to clarifying the role of applying information technology in archiving work in general and document archiving at the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular.

Second, on the basis of clearly analyzing the current status of archival work and the situation of organizing the exploitation and use of archival documents at the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, from there, research to build and manage the Department's archival document database to improve the quality of archival work and at the same time better serve the needs of exploiting and using documents of the subjects.

Third, the Department's archive database will promote the role and value of the Department's archives in urban planning and management.

11. Practical application:

The results of the thesis will have practical applications in the archiving and exploitation of documents of the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular and will also be a source of reference for other agencies and organizations related to planning and construction work nationwide.

During implementation, the thesis achieved the following results:

Firstly, the thesis contributed to clarify the roles of application of information technology into archival work in general and document archive at Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular.

Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the actual situation of archive and exploitation of using archived documents at Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, it is necessary to study database construction and management of archived documents of the Department in order to improve the quality of archives and better serve the needs of exploiting and using documents of objects.

Thirdly, the database of archived documents of the Department used will promote the roles, values ​​of archived documents of the Department for urban planning and management.

The achieved results of the thesis will take practical applications into archives and exploitation and utilization of documents of Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular and be references for agencies, organizations related to planning and construction on the whole country.
