10. Summary of the thesis results:

During the course of my thesis, I achieved the following results:

Firstly, this thesis has contributed to clarifying the role of applying information technology to archiving in general and document archiving at the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular.

Secondly, based on a thorough analysis of the current state of archiving and the organization and utilization of archival documents at the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, this study aims to build and manage a database of archival documents for the Department to improve the quality of archiving work and better serve the needs of various stakeholders in accessing and using archival materials.

Thirdly, the database of archived documents used by the Department will enhance the role and value of the Department's archived documents in urban planning and management.

11. Practical applications:

The findings of this thesis will have practical applications in the archiving and utilization of documents at the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular, and will also serve as a reference source for other agencies and organizations involved in planning and construction nationwide.

During implementation, the thesis achieved the following results:

Firstly, the thesis contributed to clarify the roles of application of information technology into archival work in general and document archive at Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular.

Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the actual situation of archive and exploitation of using archived documents at Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, it is necessary to study database construction and management of archived documents of the Department in order to improve the quality of archives and better serve the needs of exploiting and using documents of objects.

Thirdly, the database of archived documents of the Department used will promote the roles, values ​​of archived documents of the Department for urban planning and management.

12. The possibility of practical application:

The achieved results of the thesis will take practical applications into archives and exploitation and utilization of documents of Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture in particular and be references for agencies, organizations related to planning and construction on the whole country.
