10. Summary of thesis results:

- Firstly, the thesis "Fukuzawa Yukichi's educational thought and its significance to Phan Boi Chau's educational thought"introduced the historical context and presented the similarities between Vietnam and Japan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

- Second, the thesis has analyzed in detail the ideological contents of education of Fukuzawa Yukichi.in some of his works. The content of educational ideology is very rich and diverse. Going deep into understanding the purpose of learning: Learning to improve people's knowledge, learning to be responsible for oneself, learning to express one's opinions and fully perform the duties of a citizen to the country, Along with that is a system of mottos and highly effective educational methods. That is: practical learning combined with the method of speech and debate to achieve the highest efficiency in learning, seriously and modestly learning and accumulating knowledge. Principles of educational reform: Appropriately absorbing the achievements of Western civilization, establishing a practical and highly applicable education, establishing an equal education for men and women.

- Third, the thesis analyzed the significance of Fukuzawa Yukichi's thoughts on education to Phan Boi Chau's educational thoughts. It clarified the transformation in Phan Boi Chau's thoughts on education.Under the influence of Fukuzawa Yukichi's educational ideology, Phan Boi Chau's educational ideology had a clear change. Coming from a family with a Confucian tradition, Phan Boi Chau was educated according to the Confucian model with the Classics, stories, poems, and prose... Therefore, when there was no Duy Tan ideology from abroad, Phan Boi Chau's educational ideology was strongly Confucian. After studying in Japan, the influence of Fukuzawa Yukichi's reformist educational ideology on Phan Boi Chau's concept of education had a clear change: from the concept of learning purpose, learning content, learning methods and principles.

11.Summary of the findings of the thesis:

First of all, the Study of “Education Ideal of FukuzawaYukichi and its influence on PhanBoiChau's one” briefly introduced the historical context and the familiars between Vietnam and Japan in the period of the end of the XIX Century and the earlier of XX.

Secondly, the Study had detailed in the content of FukuzawaYukichi's education Ideal in some of his works. The content of this ideal is diverse and abundant which dig into the purpose of learning are: to enrich people's knowledge, to have self-responsibilities, to speak out the right things against prejudge and to complete civil responsibilities. A long with this is the system of effective learning method which is to sync theoretical and practical aspects together to gain highest effect with patient and modest to gain more knowledge and experience. The principal method to innovate education system is to learn from Western Civilization properly, establish a practical education system in which the gender equality must be recognized.

Thirdly, the study had demonstrated the meaningful influence of FukuzawaYukichi's education Ideal on PhanBoiChau's one. Beside lessons drawn from FukuzawaYukichi's education Ideal, PhanBoiChau had developed his ideal to the new level. He, originated from a traditional Confucianism family, had been educated in the Confucius way with Oriental novels, poems. This is to explain why PhanBoiChau's education Ideal was, at first, so Confucius. After training course in Japan, and received a deep impact by FukuzawaYukichi's education Ideal, PhanBoiChau had changed his Ideal in terms of concept on learning purpose to the content, method of principals of learning.

This Study can be used as reference documents for college and master students of Philosophy and whoever has interest inFukuzawaYukichi's education Ideal and the change in PhanBoiChau's Education Ideal after being influenced by FukuzawaYukichi.
