Summary of thesis results: Assessment of the current state of implementation of science and technology tasks in the Vietnamese Social Insurance sector (limited to management, research, and application of research results): From 1996 to 2010, the entire Vietnamese Social Insurance sector conducted research on 177 projects and completed the acceptance of over 150 scientific products. The research content covered all areas of the Social Insurance sector's activities: theoretical research, social insurance and health insurance policies, the organization and implementation of insurance schemes for workers, management of social insurance and health insurance funds, and training of human resources for the Vietnamese Social Insurance sector... Management was carried out according to the regulations of the Ministry of Science and Technology in general and the Vietnamese Social Insurance in particular. Although implemented according to regulations, in practice there are still many shortcomings due to the lack of specific procedures in research, management, and application of research results to the sector's professional work. The thesis also points out some limitations in the implementation of science and technology tasks of the Vietnam Social Security sector, namely: - Research staff resources. - Research capacity. - Coordination mechanisms. - Research management process. - International cooperation in scientific research. - Application of research results. The thesis proposes several solutions to improve the quality of science and technology activities in the Vietnam Social Security sector: - Innovation in research orientation and project approval. - Innovation in management and scientific research. - Innovation in the application of research results to practice. - Innovation in training to improve the capacity of management and scientific research staff. - Innovation in domestic and international scientific research cooperation. 11.
