Summary of the results of the thesis: Considered the research foundation of the field of political culture research, Europe has special conditions in terms of nature, people, historical processes, political ideologies... to form a separate political culture and create significant influences on the views of scholars in other regions of the world. The thesis has outlined the most basic conditions and characteristics of European political culture with comprehensive information covering both Western and Eastern Europe, especially outlining the changes in political culture of these countries during and after the socialist period. In an effort to provide an overall picture of the political culture of this region as well as to explain its strong influence on other countries in the world, especially Vietnam, the thesis analyzed some characteristics of French and Soviet political culture, which are not only two prominent and distinct political cultural characteristics in the world but also contribute to creating a modern and diverse Vietnamese political culture. Finally, the thesis has summarized relatively fully the political culture of Vietnam since its formation as well as through each stage of development. Without applying the method of listing or comparison, chapter three analyzes the impacts of European political culture on Vietnamese political culture from the analysis of Vietnamese political culture itself as the main subject. By this method, the research project hopes to provide a new and more objective view not only on the role of political culture in Western European countries but also to highlight the character of Vietnamese political culture when placed in the context of interaction with Western countries, coming from a foreign culture. 11.
