10. Summary of thesis results:

The research results of the thesis show that after resettlement to serve the construction of Vung Ang economic zone, in addition to positive consequences, residents of Ky Phuong commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province have to face some undesirable social impacts such as unstable jobs, high unemployment, high but unstable income, increasing social evils, and declining community cohesion. From these findings, the thesis proposes some recommendations for local authorities to have solutions to limit the negative consequences of the resettlement process to serve the construction of Vung Anh economic zone for the community of Ky Phuong commune.

The findings of this thesis show that apart from the positive consequences, the resettlement for construction of Vung Ang economic zone has brought unexpected social impacts for people, for instance: unstable employment, high number of unemployment, high income but not stable, increase in social evils, reduction in community cohesion. From these findings, the thesis proposes some recommendations to local authorities for making measures in order to limit the negative consequences of resettlement process for construction of Vung Ang economic zone for Ky Phuong commune.
