Self-image is a prominent issue with a significant impact on adolescent development. It is the internal image, the way an individual perceives themselves in the world around them, and also the method by which they communicate with the outside world and adapt to their environment.

Self-image can be healthy and appropriate, but it can also be distorted and pathological. Through a case of adolescent depression, the author delves into the characteristics of self-image in relation to the illness and the individual's response to intervention. Simultaneously, the author outlines the formation of the client's self-image.

11. Practical applications:

Studying the formation of self-image provides a different perspective on psychopathological issues in adolescents. It also offers some intervention recommendations for this problem.

Self-image is a major issue that has a great influence on the development of adolescents. That is an inner image, an individual recognizes himself and it is the way that he/she communicates with the external world, and then adapts to the environment.

Self – image is related to many mental health problems in adolescence. Through an case of adolescent with depression, we tried to bring out the self – image of the individu having a mental disorder of individue and his response to intervention process. In addition, we tried to show the development of self – image of individu in the past.

11. Practical applicability:

This research contributes another view on the mental health problem in adolescence, shows the family role and the closed relationship in the intervention process, and introduces some proposals to intervention of this problem.
