10. Summary of thesis results:
- Yen Nhan is a fertile riverside land, a homeland rich in cultural traditions and indomitable revolutionary fighting spirit, a heroic unit of the people's armed forces (2005). These things have made Yen Nhan a very unique homeland, very characteristic, bearing the mark and identity of the nature and people here.
- The Vietnamese Catholic concept of marriage is built on the love of God, everything in this world is created and arranged by God. Catholic marriage is predestined by God, and is elevated by God to the sacrament of marriage. Catholic marriage aims at the following main goals: loving each other for life; giving birth and educating children. From this goal, Catholic marriage has two basic characteristics: "monogamy" and "indissolubility".
- The Vietnamese Catholic marriage ceremony is a smooth combination of traditional customs and Catholic canon law. The Vietnamese Catholic marriage ceremony can be called a "double ceremony" including the secular part (the ceremony according to Vietnamese traditional customs) and the religious part (the ceremony organized according to Catholic canon law).
- Under the impact of economic, cultural and social development; the state's legal policies on marriage and family, and the provisions of the Catholic Canon Law, the marriage of Vietnamese Catholics today has many changes in concepts, principles and marriage ceremonies.

- Yen Nhan commune is not only fertile riverside land but also has rich cultural traditions and revolutionary spirit of indomitable resilience. In 2005, Yen Nhan was recognized as the Hero of People's Armed Forces. Therefore this comune has distinctive imprints of culture and identity of nature.
- Marital conceptions of Vietnamese Catholics is based on the love of God, all things in this world are caused by God created and arranged. Catholic marriage is God's predestination, therefore, marriage is God raised to the sacrament of marriage. Catholic marriage towards two main purposes were: Lifetime love one another; reproductive and children's education. To achieve this aim, the marriage of Catholics with two basic characteristics are "single kiss" and "inseparable".
- Marriage rituals of the Vietnamese Catholic is the clever combination between traditional customs and Catholic canon law. Can call the marriage ceremony of the Vietnamese Catholics are "double ceremony" includes life (customary ritual traditions of Vietnam) and the religion (ritual was held under Catholic canon law).
- Under the impact of economic, cultural, social; policies and laws regarding marriage, the family of the state, and the provisions of the law of the Catholic Church, the marriage of Vietnamese Catholics have more changes in concepts, principles and marriage ceremonies.
