The thesis "Information Technology Orientation Policy for the Computerization of the Health Insurance System (Research in Hai Duong Province)" has established a theoretical basis for the information technology orientation policy issued by the Vietnamese Government aimed at computerizing health insurance activities; presented legal documents from ministries, departments, and agencies at the central and Hai Duong provincial levels; analyzed the achievements and limitations of this policy and the application of information technology to the computerization of the health insurance system in Hai Duong province in recent years; and identified the causes of these limitations. Based on this, the thesis offers recommendations and solutions to improve the effectiveness of the information technology orientation policy in the field of health insurance, recommendations for central and local leaders, specifically the provincial leaders and relevant departments and agencies in Hai Duong province.

The proposed solutions are fully applicable in guiding the development of information technology in the field of health insurance in Hai Duong province.
