In the special context of Vietnam's cultural and political history in the early 20th century, as a journalist and writer in the pioneering class, with his talent, knowledge and enthusiasm, Pham Quynh made significant, if not huge, contributions to the formation and development of modern Vietnamese journalism and literature.
In the field of literature, Pham Quynh's greatest contribution that needs to be recognized by history is his efforts to build and develop a new literature. In the field of translation, together with Nguyen Van Vinh, Pham Quynh was a great translator of the transitional literature period. Pham Quynh was one of the first to make contributions to the development and perfection of the national language and national sentences. The issue of Pham Quynh is a complex one. The research potential is still very rich. What we have done in this thesis is only a modest initial result. Because even with the ambition to learn more fully, due to many reasons, initially we can only conduct research on a few small aspects of this great intellectual's career. Hopefully, the research results of this thesis, in terms of science, will more or less contribute to the common effort to research the phenomenon of Pham Quynh - one of the special people in the context of the history of Vietnamese culture and literature in the transitional period of the first half of the 20th century.
