10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis has researched, analyzed, and clearly identified the advantages and disadvantages of Vietnam's science and technology policy system regarding the activities of non-governmental science and technology organizations under the Vietnam Union of Associations, thereby proposing solutions to promote the development of non-governmental science and technology organizations.

With fairly comprehensive source materials, this thesis has conducted a practical study of the activities of science and technology organizations under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the contributions of these types of organizations to the development of science and technology in conjunction with the socio-economic development of the country. Through this, it analyzes and evaluates the positive aspects and limitations of the development of these types of science and technology organizations.

The thesis proposed five recommendations to encourage the development of non-governmental science and technology organizations to meet the increasing demands of industrialization, modernization, and international integration, along with socio-economic development goals.

The thesis has studied, analyzed and indicated the benefits and disadvantages of the science and technology policy system of Vietnam relating to activities of non-State science and technology organizations under the Vietnam Union Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA). Thereby, the thesis provides measures to promote the development of those non-State science and technology institutions.

The thesis has conducted research of practice of the science and technology organizations under VUSTA, and contributions of these institutions to the national science and technology. On those bases, the thesis analyzes and evaluates the positive aspects and limitations for the development of all types of science and technology organizations.

The thesis has proposed five recommendations in order to encourage non-State science and technology institutions to develop and meet the increasing demands of national socio-economic development targets and requirements of the process of industrialization, modernization and international integration.
