- The thesis compared drums in Southeast Asia, especially in Laos, to determine the ethnicity and age of type III drums.

This thesis is the basis for the author to continue studying the characteristics of type III bronze drums in Laos and other countries, as well as bronze drum scholars who want to study type III drums.

I am a staff member of the Lao Archaeological Research Center. With the guidance of teachers in the department and teachers outside the department, I have an understanding of the country researching type III drums in Laos, because there are quite a large number of type III drums in Laos but no one has researched them.
