10. Summary of thesis results:
The study focused on exploring conflicts among four stakeholder groups in tourism development activities at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex (TSC) using qualitative research methods. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with stakeholders, including local communities, tourism businesses, local authorities and tourists. The results of the study showed that conflicts occurred both within and between groups in all three aspects of economy, culture-society and resources-environment. The main causes of these conflicts stem from differences in motivations, purposes and benefits when participating in tourism activities of stakeholders.
11. Practical application
The research results are a reliable source of input data for tourism development strategies and plans in QTDTTA and help the Management Board better understand the current situation of conflicts between stakeholders in the Complex. From there, it proposes reasonable solutions and tourism development plans, ensuring the harmony of interests of all stakeholders, aiming towards the goal of sustainable tourism development.
12. Further research directions:
The next research direction of the topic is proposed as follows: Firstly, it is possible to choose research locations such as other heritage sites or destinations with more diverse contexts to compare and contrast the results. Secondly, it is possible to use other research methods such as quantitative methods to expand the sample size, investigating any differences in perception based on the demographic characteristics of the parties, especially the local residents and tourists.
