The topic “Factors affecting the attractiveness of Vietnamese tourist destinations to Russian tourists” has systematized domestic and foreign research works related to the attractiveness of tourist destinations and factors affecting it to tourists. On that basis, the author has built a theoretical and practical foundation on the attractiveness of tourist destinations, focusing on the group of Russian tourists (including concepts, factors affecting attractiveness, overview of research models, etc.).
By using methods such as observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews, along with data processing tools such as SPSS and Excel, the study analyzed the factors affecting the attractiveness of Vietnam's tourist destination to Russian tourists.
The study has added important scientific knowledge about the attractiveness of Vietnam as a tourist destination, especially in the eyes of Russian tourists. The results not only provide a scientific basis for recommendations to enhance Vietnam's attractiveness to the Russian market, but also offer specific solutions: preserving and promoting tourism resources, upgrading infrastructure, improving service quality, diversifying tourism products, and enhancing cultural exchanges. These measures not only help improve tourist satisfaction and increase the likelihood of returning, but also aim at the goal of sustainable tourism development, contributing to building the image of Vietnam as a safe, friendly and professional destination in the international arena.
11. Practical application
The topic has practical significance in determining the factors affecting the attractiveness of tourist destinations for Russian tourists. From there, it helps tourism managers have an overview of tourist destinations, increasing the ability to attract Russian tourists in particular and tourists in general.
Based on the research results, implications are proposed to enhance the attractiveness of tourist destinations. This is also a suggestion for tourism managers in building a sustainable tourism promotion development strategy.
The research results can also be used as reference materials in the Russian Tourism subject of the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture, University of Foreign Languages, VNU.
12. Further research directions: The following are proposed further research directions for the topic:
Firstly, the study should expand the scope of the survey to different tourist destinations across the country, including specific regions such as the Northwest, Central Highlands and the South. This will help provide a more comprehensive and comparable view of the differences in the attractiveness of destinations across the country for Russian tourists.
Second, future research could include psychological factors and motivations for Russian tourists, helping to better understand their needs and expectations when choosing Vietnam as a destination. These factors could include motivations such as interest in cultural exploration, need for relaxation, or interest in the natural environment. Combining external factors and tourist psychology would provide a more comprehensive view of Vietnam's attractiveness.
