Chapter 1: Overview of standards, technical regulations and archiving work
In this Chapter, the Thesis introduces a number of contents related to standards, technical regulations and archiving work; at the same time, analyzes the role of standards and technical regulations in archiving work.
Chapter 2: Current status of building technical standards and regulations of Vietnam's Archives industry
Through practical work and field surveys, the Thesis focuses on analyzing and evaluating the situation of building standards and technical regulations in archival work at the Department of State Records and Archives in recent times. In addition, in this Chapter, the Thesis has summarized and compiled State regulations related to standardization activities in general and the building of standards and technical regulations in archival work in particular; at the same time, it introduces a number of international and foreign standards related to archival work.
Chapter 3: Some solutions to promote the development of standards and technical regulations of the Vietnamese Archives industry
In Chapter 3, the thesis analyzes the advantages and challenges for the activities of building standards and technical regulations of the Vietnamese Archives industry; on that basis, proposes solutions to contribute to promoting this activity in the coming time.

In addition, the chapter also summarizes available state regulations regarding the activities of standardization in general and in setting up standards and technical regulations in archives in particular, at the same time introduce some international standards and standards of other countries in archives.
