10. Summary of thesis results:

1. In both novels, there are all forms of dialogue: monologue, duologue, trilogue and polylogue. Of which, duologue accounts for the largest proportion of the total number of dialogues.

2. We study the characteristics of the characters' dialogue language through analyzing the characters' speech purposes, the language behaviors expressed in the dialogue along with the use of language, communication roles, and forms of address of the characters to help readers thoroughly understand the characters' personalities and psychology in typical situations. On the other hand, each character has its own characteristics in dialogue when participating in communication with different characters. Therefore, we will examine and describe the characteristics of the dialogue of the characters that we consider to be typical of these two novels in their relationship with the main character, thereby clarifying the characters' multi-dimensional psychological and emotional states.

3. Through the survey, we found that the dialogues in Duong Huong's two novels focus on four topics: family and daily life; love; philosophy of life about people and current events; work.

We hope to contribute a small part in the approach to the topic of researching the dialogue language of characters in literary works according to the conversational theory and initially studying the language style of writer Duong Huong.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

1. There are all conversation forms in both novels: single dialogue, double dialogue, triple dialogue and multilateral dialogue triangle. Among these, the largest proportion of the conversation is double dialogue.

2. We learn the characteristics of speech of the characters through the analysis of the purpose of language characters, the language behavior shown in the dialogue with the use of words, the role of communication, from claiming coral characters to help readers understand personality, psychological character in typical situations. On the other hand, each character has their own unique voice of participating objects communicate with each different character. Therefore, we will examine and describe the characteristics of the character lines that we believe are representative of two novels in relation to the main character, thereby clarifying the psychological state, emotional multidimensional character.
