- This thesis initially researches, synthesizes, and interprets the contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on leading ideological work, including: the position and role of leading ideological work in leadership; the necessity and objective need for leading ideological work; the subject, content, and methods of leading ideological work; and cadres leading ideological work.

- This thesis researches, analyzes, and evaluates Ho Chi Minh's leadership practices in ideological work.

- This thesis summarizes and evaluates the creative application of Ho Chi Minh's thought on leading ideological work within the Communist Party of Vietnam; the issues currently facing leadership in ideological work; and proposes improvements in understanding, tasks, and solutions for leading ideological work in the current period.

After researching the issue: Ho Chi Minh's thought on leadership in ideological work - Theoretical and practical value, the topic can be further developed to study the application of Ho Chi Minh's thought on leadership in ideological work to the Party's ideological and theoretical leadership body, such as the Central Propaganda Department.
