10. Summary of the thesis results:
- Adhering closely to the research axis set by the topic, and based on the theoretical foundations of journalism studies, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, and interpreted the theoretical basis related to the research problem. This includes the relationship between Facebook Fanpages and online newspapers in the issue of audience development and the role of audience development through Fanpages – an inevitable trend in the development of modern journalism.
- With the aim of studying the development of online newspaper audiences through Facebook Fanpage activities, this thesis conducted a survey, description, and analysis of the use of form and content to reach the audience on the Fanpages of Thanhnien.vn and Tuoitre.vn from January 2017 to August 2017. In addition, through investigating and surveying the news consumption and sharing habits of 305 readers on Facebook, the thesis systematized the analysis to understand the effective methods of Fanpage operation, highlighting the effectiveness and challenges. Based on this, it offers recommendations and proposes solutions to help Vietnamese online newspapers attract a larger potential audience on the Facebook social network.
- This thesis asserts that the effective development of Fanpages will bring a significant audience to online newspapers. Online newspapers that want to keep up with new media trends and avoid losing their audience must have a strategic partnership with Facebook that is professionally invested in both content and form, and of high quality. In addition, media organizations also need to effectively manage their audience on Facebook to successfully guide and develop their audience in the current trend of global integration. Based on the results of synthesis, analysis, evaluation, and practical surveys of currently operating and highly effective online newspaper Fanpages, this thesis hopes to contribute to guiding the most appropriate way for media organizations in general, and online newspapers in particular, to develop their online audience through Fanpages.

The research findings have potential applications in news agencies and media organizations, especially online newspapers, in guiding how to effectively develop their audience through Fanpages.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results of this research, further research directions can be developed, such as methods for developing social networks, especially Facebook, in order to develop and guide the public in the fastest and most accurate way.

10. Summary of these results:
- Based on the topic-oriented research and the theories of journalism, the thesis has analyzed, synthesized, explained and built the theoretical basis related to the research issue. The thesis indicates the relationship between Facebook Fan Pages and online newspapers in readership growth and the role of readership growth through Fan Pages - an indispensable trend in the development of modern journalism.
- For the purpose of researching the readership growth of the online newspapers via Facebook Fan Pages, the thesis has described and analyzed how to approach the audience on Fan Pages of Thanhnien.vn and Tuoitre.vn, which is the result of a survey conducted from January 2017 to August 2017. In addition, the thesis also indicates the habit of receiving and sharing news of 305 facebook users, systematizes the data to know how to run an effective facebook page, thus recommending and suggesting how Vietnam online newspapers attract more potential audience on facebook.
- The thesis affirms that an effective development of Fan Page will increase the readership of online newspapers. Nowadays, online newspapers have to build a comprehensive strategy of cooperation with Facebook in order to catch up with new trends and maintain the number of their readers. In addition, the press agencies should well perform their responsibilities in managing the public on Facebook so that they can well perform their role of orienting and developing the public in the trend of global integration. The thesis is based on the combined results, analyses, evaluations and surveys of some successful online newspapers' Fan Pages, which is expected to contribute to the readership growth of the press agencies in general and online newspapers in particular through Fan Pages.

The research results can be applied in the press, media organizations, especially online newspapers in effectively orienting the readership growth through a Fan Page.

Based on the research results, it is possible to develop further research directions such as methods of social networking development, especially Facebook, in increasing the audience and orienting the public successfully.
