- Indicating the salient features - the content, ideology, and aesthetic, of the works of the filmmaker Bong Joon-ho. Identifying the ideology that stands out in his films is anti-capitalism ideology, with a strong combination of ethnicity and modernity.
- Specifying the cinematic language of the director Bong Joon-ho: Using the traditional techniques in mise-en-scéne, camera movements, editing and sound in an opposite way, he created a whole new language for himself. The popular cinematic language of this filmmaker is duality, contrast, and exaggeration. These are the perfect means to support the genre Bong Joon-ho yearns for: Dark Comedy and Suspense.

The research results of the thesis will serve as a guide for demonstrating the achievements of Korean cinema in particular and Asia in general, which is also what Vietnam is still short of in receiving the elite of the world cinema.
