To maintain its position and influence, the United States has adjusted its strategy, focusing on promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific region, maintaining a rules-based international order, and encouraging sustainable economic growth. The US Indo-Pacific Strategy, with comprehensive military, economic, and diplomatic measures, has had significant impacts on the evolving security structure of the region in the period from 2019 to 2023. The thesis has clarified three issues: (1) The concept and evolving security structure in the Indo-Pacific region; an overview of the US Indo-Pacific Strategy. (2) The reality of the implementation of the US Strategy; changes in the regional security structure under the impact of this strategy, specifically in three aspects: (a) Changes in the distribution of power in the region, (b) Impact on common patterns of relations in the region, and (c) Impact on the principles binding the subjects.
