The thesis has studied the basis for China's policy making for the Mekong Sub-region and the process of China's policy implementation for the Mekong Sub-region in the fields of economy, politics, culture, defense, and security; from there, it assesses the positive and negative impacts and recommends to the Party, State, ministries, branches and localities policies and strategies to promote the positive aspects and limit the negative impacts of China's policy on the Mekong Sub-region to firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and develop the country's economy.
