Based on the analysis and interpretation of the formation basis, basic contents and main values of Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense, the thesis has deepened the application of Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the new situation with the characteristics of Vietnam's national defense in history and at present.
In addition, based on the contemporary domestic and international context and the issues raised in applying Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense, the thesis initially proposes a number of recommendations as solutions for Vietnam's current security and defense according to Ho Chi Minh's thought.
