Based on an analysis and interpretation of the formation, fundamental content, and main values of Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense, this thesis has deepened the application of Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense by the Communist Party of Vietnam in the new situation, taking into account the characteristics of Vietnam's national defense in history and today.
Furthermore, based on the contemporary domestic and international context and the challenges posed in applying Ho Chi Minh's thought on national defense, this thesis initially proposes some solutions for Vietnam's current security and defense in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's ideology.
