Summary of the thesis results: The current state of traffic participation poses many problems for various sciences, including psychology, to solve, especially those related to the attitudes and behaviors of young students in traffic participation. Therefore, stemming from both theoretical and practical requirements, we chose the thesis topic: "Attitudes towards traffic participation of high school students in Hanoi." To address the research task of the topic, we selected the main subjects as students from three high schools in Hanoi representing three types of schools: specialized, public, and private. Specifically, Chu Van An High School, Nhan Chinh High School, and Ho Xuan Huong Private High School, with a total of 300 students. In addition, we also selected secondary subjects including teachers, parents, and traffic police. In our research, we primarily used questionnaire-based surveys, combined with supplementary methods such as observation and interviews. The general results are as follows: - The thesis has systematically established some theoretical foundations regarding attitudes in psychology, such as the concept of attitude, its characteristics, structure, and mechanisms of attitude formation. It has also clarified some basic concepts such as traffic participation and attitudes towards traffic participation. - We have conducted surveys and assessments of the current attitudes of students towards traffic participation, particularly their awareness of traffic safety, emotions, and behaviors during traffic participation in high school. In addition, we surveyed the opinions of adults and conducted objective observations of students' behavior during traffic participation to provide a basis for comparison and clarification of the research problem. Specifically: - Based on the research results, we boldly present some viewpoints and recommendations to further enhance the positive attitudes and behaviors of students in traffic participation, prevent and reduce violations, and improve traffic safety awareness as they grow into adults. 11. Besides, it also surveys adults' attitudes, students' traffic participation objective behaviors and uses them as the basis for comparison and research issue clarification.
